Cidade Criativa | Cultural Transformations is an intergenerational collective of professionals convened to think and propose arts and culture-based creative solutions for urban and social transformation.

It is well known that environments that encourage imagination, creativity, diversity and entrepreneurial spirit are vital to the development of creative cities. We believe that the road for the development of creative cities is the revitalization of autonomous, self-managed but interconnected communities, in constant dialogue with the private and public sectors.

The term Creative City indicates urban spaces where the efficient articulation between artistic activities, cultural industries and governmental agencies is capable to produce a cultural magnetism that develops, attracts, and retains talents; promotes social diversity; extends the offering of jobs; generates more knowledge between citizens; develops the creative potential of corporations; and attracts tourists, therefore significantly contributing to the economy of cities and the quality of life of its citizens.
